Laurel's Lucinda - Shirab (Shire x Arabian) filly born October 2, 2006. Dam is Laurel's Fern, a full sister to Laurel's Powerful Paul. Her sire is an Arabian, Oregon Fame EFF. Lucinda is the most amazing incredible foal produced on our farm of this type of breeding. She invented airs above the grounds for babies - she, at only one week old, could jump in the air while turning around. She could also gallop sideways, walk on her hind legs and kick her mother 3/4 of the way up her flank while running. She then learned to take speeding runs at the fence and do Quarter Horse sliding stops without hitting the fence and then turning. She's extremely agile and would no doubt be an excellent dressage horse. Of course she can easily float, what we look for in dressage prospects and just look at those wonderful legs! She will probably mature between 16.1 and 17hh. $4,500 (US) |
